the Naturalhy Project
Naturalhy is an Integrated Project, co-financed
by the European Commission through the Sixth
Framework Programme (2002-2006) for research,
technological development and demonstration
(RTD).
The main objective of NATURALHY project is to
contribute to the preparation for the hydrogen
economy by:

Identifying and
removing the potential barriers inhibiting
the development of hydrogen as an energy
carrier, using the existing natural gas
system as a catalyst for change;

Initiating the
near-future practical transition towards the
hydrogen economy
The project team on
Naturalhy comprises an international consortium
of 39 partners, and is co-ordinated by N.V.
Nederlandse Gasunie.
